This training is open to Sworn Peace Officers of the State of Utah or a Sworn Federal Officer.

This training is offered free of charge to CIT Utah Officers as an opportunity to recertify as such.

Topics covered include:

1.     Re-orientation to CIT

2.     De-escalation Training for Law Enforcement – Intervention Strategies

3.     Pink Sheets and Commitment

4.     High Utilizing and Challenging Consumers

This training will encompass the de-escalation techniques and principles taught in the CIT Utah training academies.  Some scenario training may be incorporated to allow practice and/or observation of the techniques.
